You know the major problem in this world? Everyone is stuck in their own blockheaded perception of things. God forbid we all look at things from another angle. Its alot like photography. The cliche about "having the right angle" isn't a joke, it's vital to taking a decent picture. Changing perspectives, zooming in for a closer look, zooming out to see the surrounding environment, these lessons are important for life too. If some one is so sure they know something, why are they often so reluctant to change their perspective. If they're right, it will be the same no matter how you look at the situation. My basic advice for both photography and life is quite simple. When you have convinced yourself that you know the subject, change the way you look at it, and see how much detail you missed the first time. (And down with stubborn single-mindedness!)

You have to take this world which you experience and translate it to a two dimensional piece of paper and make it come alive again to somebody that has never experienced it before. - Rodney Smith, photographer
